How it works
Step 1 — Become a member
Complete the registration form online and accept the terms and conditions. Done!
As a member, you will be kept informed about events and will be able to participate in them.
To drive our cars, you can choose from several paid subscription plans.
You can only take out a subscription if you have a valid category B driving licence and a car for daily use. This may be your own car or a company car.
Once your subscription is activated, you can start driving driver.community cars.
Take the key and let the miles roll by!
Step 2 — Reserve your car
Driver.community has a number of locations across the country. There are a number of cars at each location. These change regularly. Choose the car of your preference and book it during an available time period. Depending on the level of your membership, you can drive cars from the same level without limits*. Cars can be picked up at the corresponding location and must always be returned to the same location. You may use the parking space of the car you’ve booked to park your own vehicle.
* The number of reservations you can make during your membership is unlimited. However, the duration of each reservation may be limited depending on the car’s popularity. The maximum number of upcoming scheduled reservations also depends on your chosen subscription. Each member may only borrow one car at a time.
Step 3 — Drive
On the first day of your reserved period, your car will be ready for pick‑up. Follow the simple instructions in our app to collect it. Now let the fun begin! Enjoy the car, the road, the view—in short, your adventure. There are no mileage restrictions as long as you stay within the EU.
At the end of your trip, the app will notify you when it’s time to return the car. Simply follow the instructions to drop it off and pick up your own vehicle. Another memory no one can take away from you. Time to book your next car!
Pick‑up and return are available 24/7 and require no human interaction.
Step 4 — Score points & badges
Earn points by driving cars, sharing your experiences, participating in events, recruiting new members, and more. These points can later be exchanged for great extras.
Some of the cars on offer require special skills. For example, they may have a lot of power or handle more aggressively. These cars can only be borrowed if you have the appropriate badge. Driver.community regularly organises events where you can earn these badges. Besides giving you access to these special cars, the badge is also great for your street cred.
